Client – Broadacres Housing Association

A development of 24 apartments comprising 4 No one bed and 20 No two bed apartments together with landlord facilities and cleaners’ rooms. The scheme also comprised associated drainage, external works, hard and soft landscaping, a drying area, bin store, parking areas, a new substation, fencing and retaining structures.

Project Outcome

Project was completed in time for the Client to draw down HCA funding and within an acceptable budget to the desired quality requirements. The scheme benefitted from an economical central plant and incorporated renewable energy in the form of solar panels and a passive ventilation system. The building was insulated to a high standard, giving the occupants an extremely energy efficient building with low running costs and utility bills. The scheme achieved Code for Sustainable Homes Code level 3.

The scheme was registered with the Considerate Constructors Scheme and achieved high scores throughout.
