The works included for the internal alteration and refurbishment to provide a new draught lobby and the construction of a new mezzanine floor to extend the existing upper floor structure. The new steel structure was built off new foundations and connected to the existing church walls. A new timber staircase “wrapped” around the existing lift shaft to give access to the first floor. Internal accommodation was formed at both ground and first floor levels. High quality ash glazed screens and joinery used throughout.
