700 CLUB – FOREVER HOMES PROJECT

Client – 700 Club, Darlington

The “Forever Homes” project aimed bring additional properties into the portfoilo of the 700 Club in Darlington to help residents currently in temporary accomodtion move into long term rented properties.

The 700 Club is  a charitable organisation who provide temporary accommodation and support services to vulnerable individuals, families and couples who are homeless, at risk of becoming homeless and/or are in condition of need, hardship or distress. This project was a new venture for the orgnistion in conjunction with Homes England to purchase existing properties and bring them upto EPC C standard to provide rented “Forever Homes” for needy residents in Darlington

A total of 12 properties in two phases with the works varying in each property but generally included re-roofing, improvements to insulation of the properties, new loft insulation, cavity wall insulation, thermal board lining, new heating and electrics as necessary, double glazing, new bathrooms and kitchens, complete re-decoration and new floor coverings.

The first phase of properties was completed Summer 2025 and the second phase is nearing completion.
