BEDALE METHODIST CHAPEL

Client – The Trustees of Bedale and District Methodist Church

Alteration and extension to form new entrance lobby, kitchen, meeting rooms and toilets. The Church Hall also undergoing a full refurbishment to provide a multi-purpose multi-function space, together with new flooring, thermal improvement works, new external doors and complete re-decoration of the Chapel.

Part of the existing Chapel and Church Hall were demolished to allow for a new extension to connect and combine the two existing buildings. The extension was built on piled foundations with a beam and block floor. External walls being a combination of brickwork and curtain walling with part single ply, part slate and part zinc clad roofing. Internal finishes to a high standard including oak doors and skirtings.

External works comprising a new ramp, steps and parking together with associated drainage and services.
