The existing dairy buildings were fully refurbished to provide stallion boxes, two tack rooms, two feed stores, reception and admin area, equine grooming and wash down area, stallion collection area, rug store, machinery store and general store together with utility room, kitchen, toilets, showers, meeting and office accommodation.
A new structure was formed over the former open central courtyard of the dairy yard to create 14 high quality internal stables with a perimeter walkway. The new construction comprised a specialist laminated timber beam structure, cladded roof and large central rooflight. A galvanised steel frame with brickwork casing supported the new roof. A timber clad façade was installed to infill to the open end of the existing yard to form a fully enclosed building.
Internally finishes were to a very high standard with bespoke oak joinery and high quality finishes and fittings.
