The works comprised the refurbishment of the existing Church Hall to improve the thermal qualities of the building and provide enhanced facilities.
The Hall was thermally upgraded by providing new insulation to the loft space, thermally insulated plasterboards to all walls, new double glazed windows and secondary glazing to some existing windows. A new air source pump heating system was installed which provide heat to the hall via fan convectors. The facilities were improved by providing new toilets, a new servery area and improved storage and completely re-decorated. The existing Hall floor was sanded and re-finished.
The new facility has been well received by both the church and local communities with the Church Hall being available for external bookings.
External works included a new ASHP enclosure, realignment of access path, the construction of a retaining wall and drainage alterations.
