Work has been completed on the refurbishment and extension of a farm house in the rural Yorkshire Dales.
Moody Construction Ltd were appointed to carry out the sympathetic refurbishment of and existing farm house and outbuildings to provide a modern and environmentally friendly four bedroomed dwelling along with a farm office and ancillary facilities. The scheme used traditional building methods and materials to enhance the character of the dwelling whilst providing a modern usable living space.
The scheme was completed along side the design architect Lister Haigh Ltd, Rawcliffe Associates Ltd Engineers and Richard Boothroyd Associates who acted as employers Agent and Contract Administrators.
The property has the benefit of a new ground source heat pumps together with upgraded insulations properties to provide new dwellings which will be economical to heat.
