WORK COMMENCES ON NEW LIFE BAPTIST CHURCH
Moody Construction Ltd have recently commenced work on the New Life Baptist Church in Northallerton.
The scheme involves essential maintenance works to the facade and roof of the building which was the former Northallerton cinema. Extensive roofing repairs will be carried out including replacement of structure and new insulation and coverings. The works to the facade include masonry repairs and re-pointing along with some replacement windows.
REWIND THE CLOCK
This is not the first time that Moodys have carried our work for the Baptist Church in Northallerton.
RBA Moody Bros built the then new Baptist Chapel on Valley Road in Northallerton which was in use until they moved into the former cinema building and made it their present home. We thank the Baptist Church for these photos of this silver trowel which was presented the the Baptist Church to commemorate the laying of the foundation stone of the new building on 29th September 1959.
